Current Practices
We have adopted several practices that align with our sustainability goals:
Waste Management
• Increasing our waste diversion rate to 80% by the end of 2030.
• Reusable amenity dispensers in all guest rooms.
• A hotel-wide recycling program.
• Conservation of paper wherever possible.
• Reusable kitchenware in all guest rooms.
• Repurposing discarded towels and robes into reusable rags.
• Use of microfiber mopping pads.
• Elimination of single-use plastic products.
Water Conservation
• Removal of plastic water bottles in all meeting rooms.
• Installing pressure-assisted toilets in all guest rooms by 2027.
• Waterless urinals in public areas.
• Installing motion sensor faucets in public washrooms.
Energy Efficiency
• Installing LED lights in all guestrooms by the end of 2027.
• Upgrading all back-of-house areas to LED T8 tube lights by 2026.
• Installing motion sensors in all back-of-the-house storage rooms by the end of 2026.
Supply Chain Initiatives
• Sourcing 5-10% of our food from within 100 km of the hotel.
Certifications
As of January 2025, we are proud to have achieved 3 Green Keys, an international eco-certification for accommodations and hospitality facilities committed to sustainable practices.
